copper tongue scraper

$12.00
sold out

Washing, or rinsing the oral cavity has been prescribed by Ayurveda for thousands of years to both enliven the sensory organs, purify the mind and remove toxins from the mouth.

To Use: scrape tongue* using copper tongue scraper, from back to front, rinsing scraper between each stroke – repeat until your tongue looks clean & free of coating; finally, swoosh 15 ml of Royal Mukhwas around the mouth, diluted or neat (according to taste), gargle & expel.

*the removal of toxins forming a white sticky coating on the tongue after sleep prevents their reabsorption back into the body. Often overlooked, cleaning the tongue provides a host of benefits ranging from balancing the heavy, dulling qualities of the Kapha dosha in our physiology, clearing halitosis (bad breath), increasing agni (the body’s digestive fire) & boosting overall immune function.
